Only the AI features cost money to run, so they use a prepaid balance: top up real money, and each AI call is charged exactly what it cost — what the AI provider charged us, plus 15% — in pounds and pence, never a credit to convert. No subscription; when the balance runs out, the AI features stop until you add more. Paid with Stripe; the money is kept on your account.
