Editing is free and always will be. Only the AI features cost money to run, so they use prepaid credit: 1 credit is 1p, and each AI call costs what the AI provider charges us plus 15%. No subscription; when the credit runs out, the AI features stop until you add more. Paid with Stripe; credit is kept on your account.
